Join us in celebrating the future success of the Chicago Virtual 2021 Graduating Cohort!

On August 31, we will virtually meet with friends, family, mentors, and investors to celebrate our newest graduates of Founder Institute Chicago. Guests will be treated to a special keynote and short business presentations from the graduates with investor feedback.

The Founder Institute’s pre-seed accelerator is an extremely challenging program, and graduating is a significant achievement. In fact, less than 40% of applicants are accepted to the program, and less than 30% of those generally make it through. Being a Founder Institute Graduate company is a seal of approval, signifying that company’s founders, mission, model, and plans as being validated by experienced startup CEOs.

Keynote Speaker

John R. Dallas, Jr., Founder and CEO of Enclave Learning & Earning Center

From 2017, John R. Dallas, Jr. is founder and CEO of Enclave Learning & Earning Center, a not-for-profit collegial education hub for entrepreneurs and other leaders. Enclave offers psychology-based mindset development coursework, coaching, collaboration, and other individualized support for organization builders of nearly all ages and venture stages. Since 2005, John continues to also lead Hillview Partners, a consortium of independent consultants, coaches, and speakers. From 1974, he launched and served as president of four tech-enabled national service companies, three based in New York City, and one in Fairfax, Virginia: ETX Corp., Group Concepts Capital Corp., Market Access Resources Corp. (MARCOR), and CreditComm Services Inc. (now called Intersections Inc., a Nasdaq company). In 1999, he was recruited to serve as President and CEO of Chicago Title Credit Services, Inc., then the nation’s largest aggregator of consumer credit data for regulated lenders. Almost from the start of Founder Institute’s Chicago chapter, John signed-on as a Mentor. On behalf of Founder Institute, he traveled to speak in New York City, Washington, DC, and Medellín, Colombia. For several years, he ranked internationally among FI’s Top 100 mentors. In 2014, he earned the Mentor in Excellence Award from the Chicago Chapter. John is a guest speaker at universities, colleges, high schools, and other organizations.
