Trailblazing Women in Cannabis: How Advocacy Supports Businesses and Brands
March 14 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
The Illinois Women in Cannabis Professional Development & Education Committee invites you to join us for an informative conversation as established cannabis advocates and professionals share their lived experiences navigating the cannabis industry. And learn why it is essential for more stakeholders in this industry to become civically engaged. Some of today’s most successful women in cannabis started with advocacy. As they have elevated in their respective sectors, one thing remains the same: they all understand the value of continuing to advocate for this industry and others as they scale professionally. In an industry that is still male-dominated, it is through advocacy, collaborations, and partnerships that many women have been able to pivot as entrepreneurs and advance their professional opportunities within the cannabis industry. This panel discussion will highlight trailblazing women from across the industry. Learn how these founders, entrepreneurs, and advocates have leveraged their past experiences to create the current space for their cannabis brands and businesses and listen to their projections for what the future of cannabis holds for women in the industry.
