Virtual: Physical Effects of Cannabis on PTS and/or Pain
July 26, 2021 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Physical Impacts of Cannabis on PTS and/or Pain
in collaboration with Balanced Veterans Network and Operation 1620
Post-traumatic stress (PTS) is a result of stress, trauma, and their accompanying emotions being stored in the body without being fully processed. It can last months or years, with triggers that can bring back memories of the trauma accompanied by intense emotional and physical reactions. Fortunately, veterans dealing with PTS are finding that cannabis is helping them address their trauma to begin growing from their past. June is PTS Awareness Month, and we invite you to join us for a discussion about the ways in which cannabis can help to manage and alleviate common PTS symptoms like anxiety, depression and hypervigilance.
